Book Club
The Book Club was formed to foster community and fellowship for book lovers. Participants meet 6-8 times per year, every 6-8 weeks. Books are selected in advance by group members. There is an open invitation for anyone to join. Evening meetings are announced in the bulletin.

Council of Catholic Women
The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) is a spiritual and social organized group working toward parish as well as area, diocesan, and national goals. CCW units within our parish are diverse in age, services and projects. Some projects include: ditty bags for the Pope’s Storehouse and for local charities, collection of paper products and cookies for local charities, and support of the anti-pornography white ribbon campaign. In addition, there are several “commissions” for work on family cohesiveness, parish spiritual development, local and international concerns, and legislative issues. The CCW is in charge of the Social Room and maintains its upkeep and supplies. The CCW President serves on the Pastoral Council. Groups meet monthly and time commitment varies.

Knights of Columbus
St. Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus Council #14170 was newly formed in December of 2006. The four basic principles of the Knights of Columbus are Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Each Knight of Columbus Council creates it's own programs, with emphasis on church, community, council, family, and youth. Through their activities, the Knights serve a wide range of church, community, and charitable activities and programs. The Knights meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. If you are interested in learning more about the Knights of Columbus or wish to transfer to our new council please contact Grand Knight John Hunt at 288-7550, or Deputy Grand Knight Jeff Fallon at 282-2080.

Vocations Committee
The Vocations Committee works to raise awareness and promote vocations to the religious life through prayer, educational materials and involvement in special events such as the Operation Andrew Dinner. Meetings are scheduled as needed and time commitment varies.
