Funerals

When a parishioner dies and the family is making funeral arrangements, the Pastor or a staff member meets with the family to plan the funeral, and wake service if there is one, and answer any questions about the funeral liturgy. Normally a funeral Mass is celebrated in the church and a memorial service, either in the church or at the funeral home. If the family wants a funeral luncheon, it can be served by the women of the parish.
